Motion Jones is a singer/songwriter from Minnesota who currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.  He has been writing songs for several different bands for over a decade.  Now solo, he has taken a lo-fi and minimalistic approach to his lyrically-driven, acoustic folk songs.

Free Time and Baby TeethFree Time and Baby Teeth is about nostalgia and coming to terms with adulthood in the modern world.  It was recorded in an apartment bathroom over a few months in the late fall of 2008.  With instrumentation often consisting of only an acoustic guitar and harmonizing baritone vocals, the minimalistic music hearkens to a simpler past.
